Akwaflorell says: From the jagged rocks that define dramatic coastlines to the soft rounded pebbles tumbling on the seabed, this print represents the two distinct and contrasting mineral forms one finds at the seaside. The specific colors I used in this print come from personal memories of wonderful summers spent on the sea throughout my childhood.

However, in this print design I took the cold geometric layout of a crystal-inspired pattern and infused it with ripples of warm and comforting colors. I often try to play with contrasting concepts in my designs, as the visual relationships that organically result are always the most unique and surprising to me.
